SIHH: Meet the release Panerai low | WatchTime Brazil - The portal of fine watches
That Panerai has its aficionados, this we know. Now Paneristi, as they are called, have more reason to celebrate and inflate your collection: Panerai Luminor 8 Days Acciaio - 44 mm watch equipped with the P.5000 caliber - presented by the watchmaker in 2013 - launched during the International Salon Haute Horlogerie this year.
The back of the box, equipped with a sapphire crystal, displays the P.5000 movement. The vision is basically a large plate that provides structural rigidity but low aesthetic pleasure. Still, the movement has 21 jewels and vibrates at 21,600 vph. Another sign of strength is represented by the balance wheel supported by a bridge attached by two screws. This configuration facilitates adjustment of the movement.
The power reserve of eight days is achieved by coupling two kegs of string with serrated rims. The Panerai states that the dual assembly allows the use of thinner and longer springs, resulting in a longer duration and uniformity of distribution of energy for movement.
