An architect and tatami mats | Japan seen with blue eyes
Recently, I started working at a design studio here in town, and where it's just exciting ... I am already wildly inspired! The place specializes ark clothing in drawing villas in modern Japanese style, to discerning customers. My first project is to draw a large villa on a large plot with scenic location, for some customers who have a decent budget to work with. Everything is of course relative, the reason is almost 700 sqm, which is the minimum ark clothing size of a plot in Denmark :-) I work for him here: http://www.hase-a.com/
At my new job works many things like in Denmark, while other things are quite different. One of the things that requires some getting used to is that there are not subscribed for in the metric system, but in the traditional Japanese footprint Jyo / tsubo. A Jyo measuring 0.91 x 1.82 meters and two of them put together in a square called a tsubo. Standart goal varies slightly from region to region, ark clothing for example, ark clothing is 0.955 x 1.91 mi Kyoto area, while it is slightly smaller in the Tokyo area, namely: 0.88 x 1.76 m relationship between the two sides is always ark clothing 2 : 1 Tatami
A Jyo is also the goal on a tatami mat, which is the traditional floor covering in Japanese houses. Today it is normal that the houses have wooden floors or other floor coverings, as well as a single room with tatami mats on the floor. Tatamirummet are often house finest space and serves as living room, where you sit on the floor and eat or drink tea around a low table. At night the room can serve as bedrooms when futon mattresses, quilts taken out from the cabinets.
The common goal is to provide living areas are tatami or tsubo goal. It saw Jens also when he first came to Japan and was out looking for accommodation for our little family. Imagine that it is almost a year ago ...
